PTM leader Manzoor Ahmad Pashteen addressed a Conference/side event at the United Nations Human Rights Council at Geneva, Switzerland on the sidelines of United Nations Human Rights Council’s 51st Session.
Prominent Human Rights defenders, academics, journalists and politicians participated at the conference. They deliberated in details on the Human Rights violations committed against ethnic Pashtun minority in Pakistan including enforced disappearances, extra-judicial killings, arbitrary detentions and torture.
The speakers raised the arbitrary detention of Ali Wazir, a sitting Member of Parliament of Pakistan on trumped up charges for almost 2 years. Manzoor Ahmad Pashteen urged International Community to stop aiding Pakistan in terrorising and opressing Pashtun ethnic minority. Without external help, Pakistan does not has the capacity to terrorise Pashtuns, he said.
